Help not registered on network

Hello I posted a couple of weeks ago about a problem i had regarding issues after an update. It turns out this was phone bill related :stupid:. Silly me lol. Now after working fine for a couple of weeks after updating my galaxy s2 on orange network from 2.2 to ice cream sandwich but now i cannot make or receive calls or texts. I have data connection which is 3g+ all the time. When i try to make a call i get the message not registered on network, even though my signal appears to be 2 bars. It also says emergency calls only. My bill is up to date this time. Any help would be great. Thanks

I would be looking to giving your carrier a call and double checking that they have properly re-instated your service. You could try putting another sim card in your phone, just to double check whether you get a signal/connection. If you do, it's not a phone problem.

I tried my sim in another phone and it worked fine. I also tried another sim in my phone and it has the same problem. I will call orange tomorrow. Will i still have to pay my insurance excess or do you think this will be covered? As its a fault that i have not caused.
