Help Not saving media spots?

Tried to search, but can't figure out the best way to word it. Love the phone, but it isnt saving my spot in videos or audio files.
 
No ideas? An iPhone can save my spot for a week, but this phone saves it for 15 minutes. I don't remember if my craptivate saved my spot or not.
 
Please be a little more specific, I cannot determine what you are asking. I have iPhone experience as well as Android and would like to assist if possible.
 
It doesn't resume where I left off in my media files. I start a movie, watch for 25 min, pause, leave video app and do some other stuff. Come back and press play, and it starts playing from the beginning.
 
I don't have an answer but I would love to have this information also.
 
The stock video player doesnt do this but I have tried rockplayer lite video player which when I pause a video and exit, then go back in later is still paused where I left it.

Another app that also does this is best video player pro, I would say try one of these apps (both are free)
