Help not system app-ah-ble?

REcently I tried installing a few apps to my system apps,
(from data/app to system/app using root explorer on a stock rom)

So...
These are the two that failed to wor,

Pdanet 3.xx


I would like to know why they cant/ wont work and how I can get them to work.

how did it 'not work'? It fc'd or failed to move? If it failed to move, you might not have enough space in you system (ROM) partition.

some apps (i know quickpic does) have a .so file inside the apk that you have to pull out and add to /system/lib for it to work on the rom

Is there an easy way to tell how much room is left in the system partition? I mean, besides trying to put something there and having it fail.

Titanium Backup will show:

• System ROM
• Internal
• SD card
• SD-Ext

I looked right at it and didn't even see it. Maybe I need to get my eyes checked.

Ive deleted a lot of things from my system. So I have a bout 36mb I believe.
I checked on tb.
So it is going to be that .so file that guy mentioned earlier...
The question is... How do I move it then?
Root explorer?



Edit: its not the .so file,
Just tried it and it still crashes and fails to load.

And yes it does get placed in system/app
With no problems.
And even the original .so file moves into the system (i also tried copying then placing the old .so the one before I moved it.

did you reboot after adding the .so? quickpic works fine from the rom when the lib is added

make sure permissions for the .so and apk are correct too
