Help Not taking full wallpaper

Lot of people posted nice wallpapers in another thread. When you try to set them it forces you to choose an area.

Is there any way to allow it to accept the full size of the wallpaper?

I was actually wondering the same thing before.

But after playing around you can actually make the preset box bigger by dragging the edges.

I'll try it again. Didn't seem to work the first time I tried.

You have to use wallpaper that is 960x800.

Google found these for me..and they all ROCK! When you apply one of THESE wallpapers...just make it drag around the whole thing.

I too, thought it had to be 800 tall x 420 wide....but I was wrong.

The guy a few posts above is right about the green border. I dragged the whole box into the top left corner, then I touched the bottom right corner of the box and dragged it all the way to the bottom right of the full size picture. This made the green box include the entire image. pretty rockin.

CLIFFS NOTES: Use wide wallpapers, not tall wallpapers. The wider your picture, the more height you can get on the wallpaper.

The problem is your picture is too tall. I, too, was getting pissed about how I could only pick the middle part. Follow along with my examples.

1. This is the original picture, 800px wide x 1200px tall, on my Evo, with the crop box showing I can only select half of Tiffany and that pic as my wallpaper.

2. I Photochopped the original picture by extending the width (copy/paste the edges) and now the picture is 1600px wide x 1200px tall. Here it is with the crop box now

3. Here they all are. The original (tall) one, the wider one and then an even wider one (2200px wide by 1200px tall).
