Bamboo stylus? S-Pen with eraser,,,,oh man,,,,,Im going shopping. You're not the only one that doesn't use their S-pen, which is understandable because many people don't have a "need" for it. I'm constantly using my S-pen. I even have multiple S-pen's, to the point that I don't actually pull the integrated S-pen out of the phone, unless I'm away from my office and forgot to carry my bigger s-pen (either my s-pen holder, s-pen with eraser, or Bamboo stylus).
I've always had a propensity to write down everything I need to remember, so having the s-pen is an absolute must have for me nowadays. It has also given me the comfort of being a little more "green" in not using physical paper as much as I used to...especially when it comes to writing notes.
Beyond taking notes, I've found more and more reasons to use the S-pen, once I had it and is a big reason why I hope Samsung doesn't retire the Note series and also sticks with Android OS, vs. starting to use their own "in house" OS.

For the Bamboo, make sure it is specifically for the Note series. Wacom made 2 (3 if you include the carbon fibre one) versions of the Bamboo Feel. If you get the wrong version, you will experience calibration issues. And no way of correcting it either.Bamboo stylus? S-Pen with eraser,,,,oh man,,,,,Im going shopping.![]()

LOL. It's working on your Note 3 and 8.0, so I'm pretty sure you're safe...scared me for a a second that I got the wrong one.

Just wanted to point it out to those looking for extra pens. They have to understand that they need to use the Samsung branded S Pens (or those that list it is compatible). They are the only ones that will work with the Note series. If they try any other digital pen (like other Wacom pens) in the market, they will encounter calibration issues and/or will not work properly (or at all) with the Note line.
The Bamboo Feel has 3 versions available.
1) Bamboo Stylus feel Carbon - this will NOT work properly with the Notes
2) Bamboo Stylus feel - this will NOT work properly with the Notes
3) Bamboo Stylus feel for Samsung Galaxy Note - this WILL WORK properly with the Notes.
I followed the Feel for awhile as I was thinking about picking one up. But there were a lot of users stating issues with it when it first came out. It only worked with the original Note and Note 10.1, but not with the other Notes. Wacom support even stated (at that time) that the feel will only work with devices only listed in their compatibility chart.
There are also others stating other pens from old Windows tablets using Wacom tech pens will not work with the Notes. So just be mindful about that.
That sucks...Must have jinxed it. Just started noticing calibration issues yesterday, when taking some notes at work. SO disappointing cuz the bamboo was my favorite.
Only calibration issues are on the side edges. Other than that, it still works great, but not as accurate as after initial purchase.

That sucks...
If I recall, calibration is accurate if the pen is held perpendicular to the screen. But if tilted at an angle, calibration will be off by a few millimeters.
I just noticed your link with Best Buy (CS300UK)
Wacom - Bamboo Stylus feel for Most Samsung Galaxy Note and Pen-Enabled Tablets - Black
The CS300UK is the first release of the Feel pen. The compatibility chart (when it first appeared) showed it only worked with the original Note and Note 10.1 only as well as a few pen-enabled Win tablets. The other Notes may not work properly with it. Wacom confirmed this.
The newer model CS300UK2 is the one that is designed for the Note series.

Is it spot on accurate? Or is the cursor offset by a few millimeters? Most pen-enabled pens designed for Win tablets or graphics tablets can have calibration issues. Or not work at all (Intuos Pro pens). The odd thing is some are spot on accurate with no issue if held perpendicular to the screen. But if held at an angle will have offset the input by a few millimeters. That is a calibration issue.I have a couple of pens that came with my Toshiba Portege touch screen laptop. They both seem to work fine with my note 2...
Unless there's something I'm missing??????

@gomjaba: There actually is palm detection built into the s-pen apps, and it's excellent...as a lefty, that's one of the big selling points of the s-pen over other stylus apps. I can write on my Note 3 or 10.1 with my palm pressed on the glass, and the tablet will only recognize the input from the s-pen tip. If it's not working for you, be sure to check your s-pen settings...maybe they need to be tweaked.

Not sure what you are trying to say.I would use it more if there would be some sort of palm detection or something .. Not easy to basically hover with your hand over the screen in order to write ..
If you open S-Note, you'll see a hand icon at the bottom right, this will toggle whether or not the device will recognize input from your finger or just the s-pen. This works for the s-note app, and I think it applies to the Action Memo app as well as I don't get palm marks on either...although to be fair I usually use s-note for note-taking. Good luck!
it did indeed work with s-note. 'Action Memo' - which I tried first, doesn't do this, but s-note is a lot better anyway Not sure what you are trying to say.
If you are talking about Palm rejection so you can right naturally, all the Notes have this in S Note. And apps designed for the S Pen will have that option as well. Unless you are referring to general use like the home screen... In which case there is no palm rejection.
