Help not waking up

I made a post before thinking it may have been my extended battery causing issues, but it has happened again and dont know what to think.
The problem is that occasionally when i press the power button or the home button to wake phone it doesn't,today it happened and no amount of pressing worked,so i held it in for a few seconds and the options for switch off ,airplane mode ,etc came up ,i hit the back button and it woke up.
At first i thought it was maybe a dodgy power button but its not because home button didn`t wake it up either:confused:
Standard t-mobile rom by the way.

It happened to my Samsung Galaxy phone and Lenovo tablet as well. Some times pressing the power button won't wake up the device, then I must press and hold the power button to get the "shut off phone" mode, and then press it again, then once more, and the screen finally comes on.

I think this is more of an Android OS issue than a device issue. Maybe Android was running some background applications or services when I pressed the button thus it wouldn't respond, however I have no clue and am not sure.

Hope this helps.

Today was a nightmare ,everytime i had a text the screen would not wake to let me read it ,found out it was because of NoLED ,uninstalled and has been fine since, seems anything installed that has anything to do with lockscreen causes prob, same thing happened with NoLock

My Elite is doing this also. It is only a month old and I am wondering if I should try and exchange it for a new one. Is there any new info on what causes this? I dont have NoLED or NoLOCK installed.
