Help Note 2 Battery Life

Hi, I've had my note 2 for just over a year, in a two year contract with Three, and the battery life has slowly been getting worse and worse. I've already had the phone flashed when the touch screen would only respond to the SPen, and not my finger, and before that the battery was fine. Now it seems to be dropping really quickly, and sometimes the battery will keep dropping WHILST it is charging, and I am forced to turn it off to charge :/ I have had two different batteries and neither have made any difference to it's life. I have GSAM battery installed but I haven't worked out a culprit yet.

Any help is appreciated :)

Come October my phone will be 2 years old and am still using the original battery with no problems but I never updated any of the software (4.3,etc) so whether that makes a difference I do not know

I had the same problem with my Note 2, towards the 1.5 year mark things started to get really bad. To the point where I decided to format my phone back to factory settings, then things became normal again.

Battiries are not static devices
Everything ages and everything ages diffrently. If its old, get a new one.

If you flashed a rom, you may want to let the battery die and then totaly charge it, then die, then totaly charge again.

As lith ion batteries age, the number of ions that move between the charged and the discharged areas as you charge gets smaller and smaller. Especially depending on the way you use your battery.

1.5 years is good life. 3 years is good life. Just depends on how you use it.
