Help Note 2 charger port

Has anyone noticed how flush the charger port is on the Note 2. It's like pushed in a bit. The original cable that came with it charges it just fine, but it just seems a bit far in for my comfort lol.
 
Maybe they put a bit further in so that they could anchor it a bit more firmly to the motherboard. (We can hope, can't we?)
