Note 2 Color Options Discussion

What color would you get, or have?

Its a matter of personal preference. I wanted the titanium grey but when I went and looked at both the grey seems to be a huge fingerprint magnet whereas the white doesn't show them as easily.

Lol very debatable subject however I went for the grey too.
Also note the grey is spelt 'Gray' and not grey, whats that all about?

LOL!!! It's spelled both ways depending what part of the world your from. Never saw "spelt" before.....see there. :D
 
Gray will have less obtrusive reflections in the car window when used in a dock as a GPS. #1 reason for me really wanting black and not chrome trim on my phones.

I think too much focus is placed on color. When I'm using a vehicle dock things on the road move too fast for me to even notice the surrounding color of the phone.
It's right up there with looking for something right in front if you and not seeing it.

It's not the white bezel or phone that is distracting, it's the perfectly white reflection of the phone in the window that is in my view. The black phone just doesn't reflect anywhere near as much on the window. I.e. put a piece of white paper on your dash in the sun and look at the window, not the paper.
 
I bet most of you were wondering where I've been and why I hadn't posted since yesterday. Well, aside from the day job being crazy busy, I officially became an owner of both last night! Thanks to the manager and his team at Best Buy.

I left work to go to watch the Laker game at my cousin's pad and was planning on stopping into the best buy (same one I got the white sprint version at), just to return my white note 2 and then order the Grey one. I called, just to save some time and spoke to the manager. Manager was awesome and definitely said he'd have no problem giving me a loaner phone until the Grey got in. He paused for a second and told me to hold. I was driving into a known dead area, so I pull over to finish the conversation. This was 830pm. He comes back on the phone and says, "you're in crazy luck, I got one in today. Lemme just make sure I take your name correctly, so I can hold it for you." Even though I could've picked it up this morning, I didn't want to chance it. Zoomed down to the best buy, got there 5 minutes before closing. Done. Exchange with my white (Luckily was smart enough to put all the accessories and box in my car that morning). I missed most of the game, but was worth it.

I got even more goodies to share in the case thread, for those that wanna see what other awesome deliveries I got.

Lol...it's perfect having the different colors. I was struggling picking up the wrong phone all the time. This will eliminate that confusion.

Which brings me to my question- what happened to leaving it tucked away for when you needed international use? You went from that to it becoming a dedicated media player.
With all the batteries you have, your main Note can be your dedicated media player.

Tucked away? Heck no...LOL...that was never the intent. It was ALWAYS going to be my daily media player (check back all my posts about the MoPho originally going to be used for that intent and then as soon as the Daily Steals deal came up, the MoPho became expendable and got the boot in exchange for the Note 2 International). My main note is going to be primarily for purposes of communication (personal and work), as well as being ideal for viewing and listening to media on the go...especially if it needs to be viewed online.

It's mainly cuz I didn't want to use my main phone for music on the way to work. And the international one can work in the pi or Europe whenever I do go vacation.
 
i went to my best buy they only had the white on display. i went to sprint and played with them both and i am going with white one!

but the view of the white version when you turn it on its side and are looking at the silver siding and the white backing isnt great. the front is nicer in white imho but side/back is nicer in the TI color.

the back of the TI 100% shows off more finger prints then the white version does but over all its such a toss up just get your hand on one any color will do!
 
I didn't think color would be such a huge issue for some people. I didn't base my choice on the phone colors. Mine was based off of what color I like period. I have an affinity for all things white so it was a no-brain. Guess I would've been in quite a pickle if white hadn't been an option.

that is a good point...
color and in the sun ... on the dash.

the thing does get hot! when it is being used.. as a GPS or whatever..
charging...
in the sun...
dark color... absorbs more light.. making more heat...

but your point is good too.. white does get bright on the dash

hhhhmmm... which color??? :confused:
