Help Note 2 Crash

A few months ago I purchased a used Note 2 and for a while it worked fine, but after a month or two it started to randomly freeze and turn off and when I tried to turn it back on it got stuck at the Verizon screen and I wouldn't be able to to fully start it up until I plugged it in. This problem is still going on and is getting worse and worse. I saw on the forums about a "Sudden Death Syndrome" but my chip is "Sane" so I don't think that is the problem. Does anyone else have this problem do you know how to fix it?

Battery problem? It only starts when it's plugged in and has been getting worse with shutting off. Given it's an older device now and you bought it second hand. Definitely worth trying a new battery in it.

Can't go wrong listening to Big Mike ever, lol, but I was just thinking that if you have one already, you could always try running it off an external battery "bank" thing and see if it still happens. If it doesn't I'd say you can be one hundred percent sure it's a battery issue and order a new one without worries!!!
