Well put my note 2 on charge before going to sleep, as normal. When i got up i realised that the alarm had failed to go off. On switching the screen on... nothing...
A bit of googling and taking battery out, holding buttons etc... looks like the sds
Since I had only had the phone for a less than 6 months i got onto the phone with samsung but i did not feel it was right that i should have to send it away for repair. So on the phone to o2. I argued under the sales of goods act i was sold a faultly device...
Well as you can imagine this went on for a while
... but it did end up with me in an o2 shop and having it exchanged by the very nice people there....
So now i have a new note 2 ...
I also tested the chip and it comes up with a diff number 07 not 01 and "sane" not "insane"...
So hoping this will last longer..
Moral... backup
