Help Note 2 - Not fully charging (100% indicator)

Hi Guys,

Just received my galaxy note 2 yesterday and charged for the 1st time after unpacking. For some reason, even if I keep it for 6-7 hrs, the unit doesn't fully charge (green bulb never lights up, showing only the orange instead). My brother has the same exact unit and it works perfectly fine. Can this be an issue with the unit or the battery inside? or maybe the charger?

Have any of you guys come across with a similar issue on your note 2? Please advice me.

Cheers

haven't gotten the N2 yet, but typically that issue sounds like a bad battery. it's conceivable it is a charger issue, but highly unlikely. can u swap chargers with brother or simply use another charger laying around?

^^This.
I don't have the phone, but these are the steps I'd take:
1) Double check if that's a setting that can be switched on/off
2) Try switching chargers
If that doesn't change things
3) Swap batteries.
If that doesn't change things
4) Bring it back to the store you purchased and have it replaced/repaired.

You could also try to recalibrate the battery and see if that works. Just use your battery until it dies and then fully charge it back up and see if that corrects the issue.
