From what I understand the Note 2 should be getting a lot of the same features as the S4(except ir blaster stuff). My note 2 is the best phone I've owned by far and I have 5 friends with S4s on various carries.
I don't even have 4g in my area so all the upgrading sprint has been doing means nothing to me.
I had a Note 2 since October last year, bought it sim free, now my old contract is up so I sold my Note 2 (Titanium) and took a new contract out on an Amber Brown Note 2, thats how much I like them lol. There's always something new going to pop up the minute you get whatever you get. It's like that with everything. It depends on how badly you need a new phone.
If you decide you want to change now: I love my note 2.
If you are in a decent size city, then you may get 4g this year... why the rush? Why take a chance... you will be stuck with it for 2 years. Future proof IMHO.
What do you currently use your S2 for Jore?
Jore I think the Note 2 would be the right device for based on the list of things you currently use your S2 for. That stylus and the handwriting recognition it implies will definitely speed up and simplify your organizational tasks and the specs on that device make it perfect for streaming activities in your area. That insane battery life most Note 2 users reports is another plus that makes me thik the Note 2 is right for you.Pretty much everything.....calls, surfing (occasionally), texting.....I basically keep my life organized with it like calendars, checkbook balances, etc. At work I stream music/news most of the days....pretty much everything.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention I have the Note 10.1. Is there an advantage to having both?Judging from Caloy's experience yes. The Note 2 is way more portable than the Note 10.1. I've seen people using them on the bus on my way to work and while the Note 2 is quite large it can still fit in your pocket. No way is the 10.1 fitting in anyone's pockets. So ask yourself Jore; Do you need the stylus or not? Do you need a new device right now? If yes to both the Note 2 is a no-brainer, if no to the 1st question then go for the S4 or if you can, wait for the Note 3 and still get the stylus goodness with the absolute latest OS enhancements. The latest rumor is that the Samsung Galaxy Note III will be announced in Germany in September. If that happens we can expect them in the US in time for the Christmas holiday season.Does it make sense to get the Note 2 if I already have the Note 10.1?Oh yeah, forgot to mention I have the Note 10.1. If the note 2 gets an update to 4.2.2, will lean towards the note. I can't wait for the note 3. My sg2 is just annoying the crap or of me, to many issues.
