Note 3 charging with micro usb 2.0 cables? Issues?

OK all you innovators and folk in the UK,

Have you tried to use the variety of chargers and cables with micro usb 2 connectors with your note 3?

I have experimented with all sorts of charging cables and would prefer not to throw them all in the garbage and pay significantly higher prices to replace them with newer micro usb3 connectors?

What is the practical "hands on" reality?

Your comments are greatly appreciated!

I was just to post about this but not about the question you asked. The cables currently available - Micro B USB to USB are really clearly designed for static use with drives. While the OEM one is fine, all the others I have been able to find are too rigid, too stiff. No good really eg in the car. I'm going to have to find some more flexible 2Amp ones.

The ones I have are a pain in the backside and there doesn't seem to be anything more flexible yet.

The other thing is unspecced car chargers are not what they seem. There are some on Amazon described as "for" the Note 3 which if you look carefully at the photos are actually rated at 1A and not 2A though the seller gives no current rating. So they are no good either.
