Help Note 3 Not Working

mgsjarvis

Lurker
Hi All,

This morning everything was fine with the Note 3, went to send a text and the phone froze and then switched itself off.

Its been off for around 2 hours now and ive tried everything i can think off in order to get it back working again. Tried pressing The volume, home & power button all together as well and still nothing.

EE have said that they are going to send me a replacement on Tuesday but i cant wait that long as need the phone for work purposes etc.

Any other advice?

Thanks

Matt

Are you sure the battery didn't die? Try plugging it in. Also, try doing a battery pull and see if that works. I only suggest both of these since you didn't Mention either in your post.

The battery was at 96% when it turned itself off and ive tried the battery pull and nothing. Its not looking good at the minute

EE have branches on just about every high street and virtually every shopping center so if you cant wait till Tuesday why not just go to a store

I asked the advisor on the phone if i can go into the store to exchange but apparently if you have it delivered via courier (Which is what i did), then the only way you can get the phone exchanged is through the courier again. Can only go to the shop to get an exchange if you picked up at the store. Thought this was rubbish but guy assured me i'd be wasting my time if i went into a shop.

Personally I'm a see for myself type person.
Go to the store- if they say no, at least you leave with the satisfaction that you tried to do something as opposed to sitting and waiting.
