Help Note 3 ring issue

Hi All, i'm having an interesting (read annoying) issue with my Note 3's ringing. Whenever I get a call and the phone is in my pocket, as soon as I go to reach for it it stops audibly ringing. That is the call is still active but the ringtone stops. Is there a setting I can adjust to fix this?

Wow, that's a new one on me... I hope someone else can chime in. Maybe a setting somewhere in the Smart Settings that silence the ringer once it detects that you picked it up? I'm on a custom ROM so I can't really help you there. Good luck

I would go to settings and check air gestures...if you don't use them, turn it off. There is agesture setting for call accept only that can be toggled off.
I would think this would be the source of the issue.

I don't know if this might be the problem but it won't hurt to check it out.
Go to settings, and controls, and then motions and at the bottom of the screen go to turn over and from there mute/pause. It mutes incoming calls and pauses the playing sound when the screen comes on.

I've disabled that setting and will see if that makes a difference.
