Help Note 3 stock calendar

Keep getting a error on screen saying lical calendar cannot sync with Google calendar. You need a google account?
I have a google account everything is on.
I had downloaded the google calender but decided to start using stock calendar instead so i deleted the google calendar.. None of my events are coming up in notification bar with settings being turned on to show...

At least one of the accounts in the calendar has to be one of the accounts in Settings/General/Accounts, and it has to have a calendar connected with it in Google Calendar
