Did you follow the instructions in the link for the Pit file and boot into recovery and preform a factory reset after the flash with Odin?
Not much else I know to try. @James L, can you think of anything that might help?
If it originally crashed like that of its own accord, that could indicate a hardware problem with the device. Which just reflashing firmware won't fix. It could be the logic board has had it.
