Help NOTE 4 UPDATE Information/Links/etc.....

I just got my Note 4 Lollipop 5.0.1 update today on Verizon. I live in the State of Kansas, USA. I went to settings and checked instead of waiting on the auto update push. It was a two step download process. Seems to be nice and a bit more responsive now.
 
UK Note 4 running O2 lines just got 5.1.1. Download was nearly done before I realised it was doing it, lol.

Good Grief! We just got 5.1.1 ....better question is when are we getting Note 6 with a 6.o update. :)

Got mine Tuesday in Tacoma, WA.
Took less than an hour to install, didn't really time it. Everything seems to be working OK. I'm liking it so far, seems snappier. I'll know more after I use this for a week or so.
I heard many nightmares about this update when the other carriers updated theirs and I heard good things too.
Seems like flipping a coin, so far so good...
 
I swear I was on 5.1.1 already (I'm in the Netherlands). As a matter of fact I have just checked for an update manually, this morning.
Received an update just now, still 5.1.1.
I'm wondering what that was about.
 
I can't get my Note 4 to update...the update downloads, restarts to begin the install, then after a few minutes it says the update cannot be installed...gives no reason why. Has does this 4-5 times now...I have over 2 GB worth of empty space so I know there's plenty of room...not sure why it won't work
 
Hey I need some serous help I have a galaxy note 4 from Verizon it use to work great untill I updated my service now it won't allow me to do any thing if you could please send me a screen shot or any possible way of all the info for the apn you are using id highly appreciate it thanks for you time and consideration

I'm not on VZW,but,I did find the following,hope it's of help to you:

VZW APN:

If the phone is still under contract with Verizon, no carrier will let you register it on their service.
Even if you have a valid SIM card for their service, the IMEI will be registered to Verizon...

so, you need to verify that it is not under contract with VZW.
 
Well, I am on vacation for 2 weeks, so guess I get to have a 14 day window to see how other VZW Note 4 users enjoy this new toy for us.

I don't want to be the 1st Guinea pig :p:p

the trike belongs to a very close friend from King, NC....
we are at Willville BikeCamp 1/2 mile from Meadows of Dan, VA on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

the yellow bike and trailer is mine, a 2002 Honda Goldwing, very young at only 107,000 miles on her.
the trailer was built by a Arkie carpenter, and I installed all new wiring, lights, axles, hubs, and 5.80x8 speed rated tires.... according to Mr. Garmin max speed on this trip was 104 mph going around some ugly traffic messes...
