Note 8 is official...what do you think?

I don't know what happened to it, because that link worked this morning!

Call 855-726-8721 and ask about promotions for former Note 7 owners

What do y'all think about the aspect ratio (18.5x9, same as the s8 afaik but I don't know what the note 7 was)? I guess the idea is that if they make it too wide, it would be hard to hold and thumb-type, but it seems to me that using the stylus for note-taking would feel strange on such a long, narrow screen

IM A SUCKER and jumped off the cliff and WENT FOR NOTE 8 know full well i cant afford it. not thru samsung. trading s8 plus for 400 credit. went with att. i will regret it later or not, knowing full well it will consume finances.

i use stylus on s8 plus and is ok, but the spen is smaller, and will feel like being on a skating rink using spen on the note 8.

So all this poo-pooing the Note 8 and telling us it was such an expensive waste of money... and YOU bought one??? Well, okay... but if you're buying phones while simultaneously saying you know you can't afford it, well... that's on you, sport. I've been saving up for a year for this phone.

at least i bought one and now figuring out how to make up the difference, a congratulations would suffice.after its said and done, i will owe 330 over 24 months and less i go deeper and pay it off all at once which last year i did, this year i cant.

and btw, sport, i lost use of my legs which afforded me last year to pay off my s8 plus recently, so in one year its been a 1900.00 expenditure.

lol

The best buy near me had a couple of functional phones to try out. I never saw the note 7, so I was kind of worried about the stylus on a curved screen, but the note 8 seemed much flatter through the middle than the s8

i started to reply but i was reading wrong last reply about note 7. i wish it were here

i was estatic to finally see this get released. im currently still using my note 4, and i was let down last year with the 7 and glad i never jumped aboard with all the battery problems. so i have been paitently waiting for the 8, i made the leap the day after the unveiling and got up early at 7am and preordered mine from Sprint.

I was not keen on the idea of "leasing" my phone, as i have never done so nor made monthly payments on a phone EVER, however i was very much in need of a new trusty cell to have.
