Help Note 8 - Random Notification Sound

Same problem. I cleared notification reminders, and it worked. Apparantly it is a setting for repetition of reminders. My case...3 minutes.
 
Hi all. I am getting sound notifications during phone calls in Android 9. In phone settings, I have turned off "notify during calls." Any other ideas? Thanks in advance!
 
At one point you were not getting them so have you installed any new apps or made any changes to your phone? Any updates? Firmware updates?

You say you get “sound notifications”.. thats vague. Is it the same sound all the time ? Is it a “system sound”?

Could be a rogue app that you’ve given permission to sound regardless of phone state. Just pay attention to your apps and their permission settings and you’ll find it.

Thanks, Marc. It's all kinds of sound notifications -- email, texts, etc. I haven't had any updates to my phone recently. The sounds started about a week ago.
 
id go back in and re-check my settings. the latest version of android gives you lots of customizations so its possible you may have missed a setting or two...

I have this exact issue as well. It happened on my note 8 and I thought once I got my note 10plus it would stop. It's whatever I've set the default notification sound to. It plays at top volume even if my system volume is set lower and it plays through do not disturb. It's always random times of the day even middle of the night. There bk notification ever, I've used multiple notification apps but nothing shows up. I'm so desperate to get this fixed it's driving me nuts.
