So, I was working with various ways trying to figure out how to wirelessly share a connection, and figured out USB tethering with PDANet, then making my computer a hotspot. It worked alright on 3G, bit of lag getting from computer to PDANet to internet though.
Anyways: Do not use Bluetooth. with PDANet.
If you do, you will get an error 67 loop, sort of like what happens on the Optimus Elite. However, the fix on this is easy if you do end up like this:
1. Disable Bluetooth and Wifi
2. Shut off for 5 minutes.
3. Restart, and give a couple more minutes, and it will let you back on VMs data.
By the way, has anyone ever tried tethering with 4G yet? If so, how fast is it?
