Note coming to verzion or not?

So I'm due for an upgrade. Was looking at the Nexus but the note seems to be the all around better phone. Any word on when its coming to Verzion for real. My OG Droid X is getting so sllllowwwwwwwwww
 
Due to the fact that there has been almost no news of the note coming to Verizon (other than the one journal rumor) i wouldn't get my hopes up if i were you. Verizon has a good relationship with lg so i would expect them to carry the vu before the note.

This is all total speculation on my part. But usually by now there should be some leaks or something and given the fact that there isn't i just wouldn't wait around for something that seems highly unlikely.
 
I'm sure HTC might make a big phone with a 5.3in screen, speculation on my part though but I could see that happening
 
Im all sorts of bummed out now. I hear the Nexus has crap for battery. I was so sold on the Note but I'm not leaving verzion for it.

There is something about LG that I never liked. I once bought an LG phone from Verizon, I hated it so much, especially the tinny speakers, that I returned it the next day and left Verizon. The store manager never reversed the deal properly and I think VZW still thinks I owe them $175. I think LG is a very overrated brand in everything they sell and cannot compare to Samsung, especially with phones and TVs.

It is incredible to me that there are so many website dedicated to the Droid and none of the people who write for them can get a scintilla of information on what VZW plans to do. I highly doubt their phone will be called the Note b/c of all the ads I see all day long for ATT's Note but it's a good short name that now has lots of value. If a "Journal" blows the "Note" away then maybe it won't matter what they call it. I don't don't think Samsung would allow a Note 2 so soon after the Note 1 was released.

My 2.5 year old Blackberry Storm 2 is really falling apart. I am seeing batteries not lasting and extra reboots that unfortunately take 11 minutes. ATT doesn't even have 4G service in South Florida and Long Island Service isn't great.

Something tells me most of the delay is Ice Cream Sandwich and the resolution size or perhaps Samsung can't make enough for VZW given great sales at ATT. How could there be no news. Nobody in the media knows anyone at VZW to get some leaked info.

Right now I am waiting and the only thing that could get me away from VZW, besides time, is its advertising on Limbaugh's show. Hopefully they don't already because that would be a game changer for me.

The Nexus has fixed storage capactiy with no the ability to add an SD card. Not good for a 2 years + investment plus it's screen is a good deal smaller than that of the Note. That other battery that you can get now is probably another $70, which isn't terrible but ads 25% to the cost.
