I think I saw a link to a new Galaxy Note 3
manual on Sammobile site on Thur. and now
I can not find it anywhere.
It was much better than PDF - it had screenshots and all.

what did you use? Did you do it on the phone? I'd like to use an app that can do that.

i went to samsung and found the download link https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads using my computer i downloaded it, then converted it to Epub, cause my FB reader doesnt support pdf. i used calibre to convert. loaded the epub into dropbox and transfered it to cellphone. but your better off leaving it on the computer because its hard to read and try stuff on just the cell.
