I just thought I'd leave this here before I move on from the Note crowd. Although I stated a few months ago I was unaffected by lag with this device, as time went on lag did become a bigger and bigger problem. Who knows, maybe I installed one app too many but it really became disastrous (along with a bunch of flaky bugs) when I accepted the push upgrade to ICS from Rogers.
A long story short, I fell in the lake last week off a Seadoo with my Note in my pocket (I know, don't bother) and although I was able to disassemble the device completely and dry it out, it wasn't quite right afterwards and I bit the bullet and bought an SIII. Wow, what a difference in speed, performance, lack of lag, etc. I truly miss the larger screen and I may be back in the Note fold in the future, but I'm, convinced now there's something up with the Note wrt to performance and lag.
Anyway, have fun.
