Note taking/drawing apps?

So I looked in the general app forum, and someone suggested MaplePaint. I think it's my favorite so far- free, not laggy, and pretty accurate writing, even with just my finger. I suggest giving this one a try.

Great program, problem with capacitive is that you can't rest your hand on the screen.

Yeah. :( For now I've been pulling my sleeve down over a much hand as it will cover, ha. but only works in the winter.

Get some of those green felt sticky things for putting ash trays on your wood coffee table. Stick them to your palm.

I am trying to find a program that i can use to work out problems in my calculus classes, and i seem to be having trouble. I picked up the tablet today so i could stop having to use so much paper for my class and maybe be able to save my work easier.

What i need is a whiteboard app that can either scroll or page... like i would be doing on paper. i have been through most of the apps on the market when i search whiteboard and notepaper doesn't seem to bring up any results. anyone have any ideas of things that could help?

even better would be a program that could translate the math i write into typed math. are there any handwriting recognition programs out there that would actually work for writing formulas?

I took clb2196 suggestion and went with maplepaint ... Great app .. you can scroll through multiple pages . change the background to ruled or lined or white ... You may wanna give it a whirl

Will one of these Apps work with PDF files ? . For example, I want to download a PDF file and use a marker to highlight specific lines or sections.

Thanks

That MaplePaint program works great for what i need it for. it is giving me a few issues, such as messing up save files when they have lots of work in them or multiple pages, but for something to use in class to show my teacher the work, it will be perfect. once i figure out the save issue, it will be even better for my homework. what happened to me is that all of my lines got jumbled up into the corner after i saved and reopened... not ideal for trying to save and come back later, but still has it's uses.

Thank you so much.
