Hi everyone! I have a persisting problem with my Galaxy Note and I am ready to rip my hair out.
I have the Korean LTE version of the Galaxy Note. Specific Model Name is SHV-E160K. It was claimed to be unlocked by seller, and I confirmed this with a T-Mobile sim card (Phone worked, as did Data. Text completely failed, but I signed this off as a T-MO network issue).
I'm currently using StraightTalk on the ATT network. Since the T-MO sim worked fine, by all counts this sim should work too, right? Well, it's not. The phone seems to read the sim and knows its there, but can't 'register'. Every once in a while, I guess when it attempts connection, I always gets a pop up window saying "Network Registration Failed"
I've researched this for weeks now, and even though the problem seems not all that uncommon, I can't find an answer that has work yet. I've try almost everything except factory resetting my phone and flashing it.
Any ideas anyone?
