Note8 Shipping Thread

I ordered mine from Verizon on the 24th and it says expected ship date is the 14th though the Verizon customer service rep I ordered from said I should receive it by the 14. Can't be soon enough for me!! My Note 5 seems to be on the verge of failing. It's my 8th Note 5 phone btw. They've replaced it 7 times! I hope to god I don't have the same level of issues with the N8!

This will be quite interesting to see to say the least. I didn't order through Samsung and mine is said to be shipped the 13th as well plus some are saying their ship date is the 5th so I am wondering who will actually get theirs first! and I too have over night shipping, and I only live 10 minutes from UPS so I probably didn't even need to go the overnight route.

Living next to ups has nothing to do with the speed in which it ships from the origin to your local ups center and then locally delivered to you. I've had many an order arrive Thurs night but not delivered until Mon because I paid for 2nd day Delivery not next day, tracking clearly showed that. In your case you paid for next day so you'll get it, I live 15mins from UPS and I always get it at the end of the day, I asked the driver about that and he told me they drive out to the furthest location from the local depot and work their way back, hence the reason it's end of day for my address. Lastly how did you get UPS?? Every order I ever placed with Samsung for a phone always came FedEx

i sold my asus gaming laptop with 64 gb ram and 1080 8 gig graphics and 17 inch display with 4 ghz overclock to get a note 8 or two. im freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to fly.

I am not sure why you think that I don't know how my packages come but I do. I always get my UPS packages about the same time of day. First of all I didn't mention that it was coming from any origin, of course they originally come from Korea but I was referring as it being shipped from UPS and yes they do get here next day. And as far as it being shipped UPS mine always have come from UPS and and not FedEx and I didn't order from Samsung.

So I was able to actually order mine at 1135pm on the 23rd.   No screen even came up to redeem the promo items but it should be fine since they say there's an app to use for redeeming the promo

I ordered mine the minute it opened and I got a ship date of 9/4 which is Labor day? I ordered thru at&t! Hoping that's a correct ship date and they ship a lil early like they usually do! Im not a patient person and this wait is killing me, been waiting for this phone since I had to return my 2nd note 7!

Because they are made in Korea!!..... How else do you think they get here??

Usually they ship from the Factory in bulk to a distribution center in the final destination Country, then the regional Samsung sends them out to individuals, sending each package 2nd day air international would cost about $80.00 each package, doesn't make much sense. Lastly they are Made In China NOT Korea, so they won't go China > Korea > USA not happening

Thank you.... I did look it up before I posted and it said Korea, now some components are made in China but I wouldn't mind if you showed me. I will stand corrected if I am not right so yeah show me!!!

I think you'll get it before that. I still think they will have them in the stores before the 15th too. Just my opinion but I think preorders will go out before this weekend.
You will love Samsung...I do anyway. I have all the Notes and I now have a S8+ and I love it almost as much as I loved the Note 7.

You do know Apple's iPhone is not made in the USA either just because that is the home base, Right?? just like Samsung's home base is Korea

I would love nothing better than to see a shipping notification from Samsung next week! Still on track for a September 12th arrival... and since I haven't typed it in awhile:
