Help notfications

Is there a way to fix notifications on the phone through the trackpad or another way to fix the notifcation bug?

Mine does two things that you might be talking about.

It will randomly make the "ding" noise I have set for when I get a text message / IM. Usually in my pocket but I think its also done it while I was using it too.

Or do you mean the cool LED around the touch-sensitive track-pad? The white one that goes on and off... I cant figure out what it means either...

That's the notification LED. It means you have an e-mail, text message, missed call, etc.
