notification alarms

Is there an app out there to further customize notification alarms depending on the event that triggered it? My situation right now is that my phone is making noise as I go in and out of network range. This sometimes occurs while I'm scrubbed in and it's embarrasing to ask the nurse to turn my phone off.

I've dealt with the problem by setting the notification volume down to zero, but the problem with that is that I forget to give the dog his pills at the end of the month because I don't get the notification. Is there a happy medium out there? Is there an app that will let me set the "roaming" notification to silent and the Jorte calendar app event alarm to something else?

You can use a program like Audio Manager, and keep the alarm volume up while having other volumes at different volumes. I always keep my alarm volume all the way up, that way if i forget, i will still wake up in the morning.
