Help Notification alert

I keep getting a notification alert when i press an hold power button and it will also do it randomly... This was happening before 4.4.2 update and it is still doing it.....

Hi Rob. How long have you had your phone? Can you tell us what the alert says? Did it start after installing an app?

Ya it's a standard notification like i have set.. Same sound effect for Gmail, calendar, text, voice mail,. I don't have notification for set for wifi.

It just started about a month ago..
I have downloaded a lot of apps hard to say..
I did reboot phone by pulling battery for over a minute..

Go to settings, accessibility, vision, notification reminder...make sure it is checked to off. I was afraid to turn this off for fear I would not get notifications from texts etc. But this is only for unread notification in your pull down notification tray.that's why it seems so random.
I hope this helps and it's something you already haven't tried...who would think to look in accessibility for a notification setting.

okay actually that notification was turned off what I did have on was the accessibility shortcut when I turn that off that seemed to work I couldn't understand how that got turned on maybe by accident but every single time I would press and hold the power button on the side it would make the noise thank you for your help

I think that is what I suggested...is there another you didn't have checked...I would like to know just in case it would happen to me again...I bolded the part in question.
