Root notification bar error?

My notification dropdown is malfunctioning. I woke up this morning and it was all jacked up. I rebooted, reflashed, did all that shiz. Any suggestions?

The background is clear.You can see the home screen behind the notifications. Hence the control tab at the top and the "ongoing" tab.


To the OP, you re flashed the theme? Did you re wipe everything upon doing so? Reason I ask is because the PNG for the notification background isn't just going to disappear so its gotta be just glitching out somewhere.

Yeah I always do a wipe. And I reflashed twice back to back. Its not a big deal buy its not supposed to do it so I want to fix it. I'll keep trying.
fyi IM running broken out/ blitz kernel w/ ldrifta's LD_ICK.

Did this happen out of no where or did it happen as soon as you flashed the theme?
 
It was fine when I went to sleep last night and when I woke up I did a pulsion to check my email and BAM! there it was. should I just start from square one and reflash everything?

Let me make a suggestion to you. Instead of BrokenOut w/ Blitz and ICK theme. I think you will be better off going #2 with Blitz and ICK.

Try that and see if you like it. I think you will have a little bit better battery life being that #2 is really almost stock. I honestly think that some of those tweaks that are added in Blitz are just pointless.

Give that a shot and see if you like it ;)

I think the theme glitch has to do with the broken out rom also. Broken Out and the original #2 were built on the same framework with a centered clock and special themes had to be made for them. Well the clocks were unentered and normal themes could be used. But I still think its something with Broken Out because it hasn't been updated really since it came out.
 
That sounds like a plan. I was only on broken out because it was the first thing I flashed on here and only really changed kernels and themes. I'll go ahead and do that. But this will be the last thing I flash until cm9 gets done. IM moving to Utah tomorrow and there is no 4g out there. my brother sent me his old galaxy tab 10 and a gs 3. I can't wait to root those.thanks for your help and the laughs. You are all great
 
Ok so I flashed #2, flashed a new kernel and flashed i an ics theme and this is what I came up with. Double icons. haha I have flashed 4 different themes and I get the same thing. Everything gets themed except for what comes with #2. Could I be doing something wrong? I really don't want to do a factory wipe.

if u using this theme is problems just to let u know i flashed on my phone look creat bur the phone seem not to like it just use another theme and check if the problem stop

No. Wipe data in CWM.

What do you mean by double Icons? The theme might not theme all the Icons so there might be a few that are stock #2 Icons.
 
I mean I have two different phone iconS and two contact icons

Yeah those are themed launcher pro icons that comes with the ROM. Change the icons or use your normal launcher. I instal holo which is ICS -ish.

The theme doesn't change those because that's an app that Ldrifta themed. ;)
 
Cool. I'll try all of that. IM not really into aftermarket launchers though. this might be a redundant question but is it possible to use #2 with the stock launcher and ld ick and the toggles. Out of everything I have gone through I like those the most.
And thanks again for all of your help. Without you guys I would still be charging this thing every 4-5 hours

Launcher pro is an after market launcher. :/

I don't understand the toggles part ?

if you flashed my ick theme it should have removed launcher pro and replaced with lghome or holo launcher depending which version you flashed lol

i just now updated #2 and ick was updated a few days ago so for 1 last attempt just try the latest versions of the mix and tell me what you think :D

dont flash another kernel untill you get the rom working lol (just incase)
