Help Notification bar is missing

[tradie70]

Can anyone tell me how to get the notification bar at the top of the screen to appear? Even the notification button on the menu dosen't work. The phone is brand new and there has been no mods done to it. I did reset back to factory settings but didn't work either. I'm wondering if it may be a fault in the factory softwhere. HTC Desire HD Thanks

Sounds like a faulty handset. I would take it back to where you bought it from.

I'd say so unfortunately. Does the bar at the bottom (the bit with Phone and app drawer button on it) look strange too?

I had the same problem. Just turn the phone off and remove the battery for a couple of minutes, it worked for me
