This is probably not possible without rooting, but I figured I'd ask anyway. Is there any way to hide certain things from the notification bar? For example, the "ongoing" things such as WidgetLocker and Tasker. I know they are running, so I don't really need the constant reminder taking up space in that bar. Is there any way around that?
Edit: There are settings within the app to do this. Not sure if all apps have this option, but the two I mentioned do. However, with WidgetLocker, it warns that it may temporarily disable the app and it no longer shows up as an ongoing event like it normally would. I'm wondering if this will have a big affect on the performance of the app.
