Notification Bar (Samsung Vibrant) Launcher Pro

So I d/l Launcher Pro, & ADW Launcher... I like both of them, but Launcher Pro slightly better... the only problem with Launcher pro is, when i select the hide notification bar option... I can't "fling" it down like I can with the ADW launcher... Is there an option I'm over looking? not doing something right??

This is my first Android phone ever...

Thats because the option did exactly that, it hides the notification bar.

adw has the option to slide up and down key on the middle part of screen. Launcher pro doesnt
