Help Notification but nothing has changes

Has there been a general solution to http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/610504-galaxy-s3-makes-strange-tone-no-known-reason.html ? For me it cannot be the yahoo app because I hate yahoo and have never used it. Further there is no signs of anything yahoo in my applications button. But when I go to settings -> App Manager -> All there is Yahoo finance and yahoo news in there but when I go to *Running* apps there is nothing yahoo in there. The sound I am getting is the "flowers" tone which I have set up for the gmail app but when I go into gmail there is no new email. This happens multiple times a day sometimes hours apart and sometimes within 10 mins of each other. Anyone know a fix for this? Its been going on for too long now.

Could I get some help here? My phone just gave me the notification again but there is nothing on the screen and no new email. Is there any way to figure out what is causing this?

The app'Notification History' might help you.

Set up the app and after you got the notification sound again look which app has caused it.

Ever sincie I installed the app and set Notification history to ON in Accesibilty I keep getting announcements when I switch screens that says "workspace 1 of 5", "workspace 2 of 5", "folder opened" & "folder closed" and have googled the problem and the driving settings are off and followed other suggestions but the phone is still talking with a voice. Is this part of the Notification History app and is there a way to turn off the voice while still having this app?

That's a strange behavior on your phone!?
I've Notification History Pro installed and it is running on my HTC One X ... there isn't any voice annoucements and there isn't a settings for to set a voice notification or not.

BTW, Notification History has also in its list these notifications that you have permanent as icons on the left side of the notification bar, even the Input Method when you've used your keyboard.

So with the help of the Notification History app as suggested above I have found that the cause to the problem on my phone was the Advanced Mobile Care app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iobit.mobilecare&hl=en telling me that the phones battery has reached 100% charge. If the icon is enabled to show in the notification bar it will do this but if the notification bar icon is disabled the phone will remain silent when the battery has reached a full charge.
