Notification Description

[jim131]

As a brand new converted Iphone user to the N3, I am having trouble finding the descriptions of the notifications which appear at the top left of the screen. Is there possibly a diagram somewhere that shows all the notifications listed in ICON form with their descriptions?
Thanks for your help!!!

There is a link to the downloadable manual in the sticky portion of the note 3 forums, I would bet there is a description in there.

Thank you, that did help, although several of the notifications I am receiving are not on the list. I assume they are specific to certain apps, although I have only downloaded a couple so far. I will keep probing, thanks again!

My guess would be that they are app notifications for something you downloaded like you said, check what apps are running that might narrow it down

Yes, that makes sense. I was thinking about it and thought as sophisticated as this phone is, just seemed as though there would be something on the phone with descriptions. By accident I found all the ICONS listed under Notifications when you go into settings. There they are, just sitting next to the description, exactly what I was looking for and they were there all the time. I guess you have to be smarter than the phone, which in this case I was not Thank you again for your help, definitely steered me in the right direction

Sometimes the best way to find things. To me that is my favorite part about learning something new, it's like a little challenge to me. Glad you got it all figured out.
