Notification Icon on Eris

Can anyone figure a way to put "Notifications" on the homepage. I would like to be able to use it with only one click.

what notifications? they should all be in the notification bar? one swipe and there they are.

Your request is just lazy and ridiculous.. Sorry to sound like a jerk but that's just unreasonable, try comparing the ease of access of notifications as they are right now to other phones... Seems to me like people are already taking the usefulness of the UI for granted.
