Does anyone know if its possible to get any notification lights to sau when youve got a message or something??? Maybe to use the menu and back button leds as the lights to flash and show that youve got a message/email/push notification??? I know theres none stock....
You can use BLN but have to be rooted I believe OR you can use a free app in the market called "no led" which works pretty well , is free and does not require root.

except that, noled is a good app that works well, but after you install it, check once in a while on your battery, cuz it's supposed to be a battery killer..
i didn't notice it in my s2, but alot of people said it drained their's
