Help Notification LED doesn't notify...

The Notification LED on my (Sprint) O G with JB works correctly for showing charge and charge completed, but it doesn't notifiy for anything else (ie: email, texts, missed calls). I have it enabled under Settings->Display->Notification Flash. Have I missed something?

Sorry I'm late to the party. What do you think was the issue and how did you resolve it?

I believe it was a case of settings not being fully correct or my general impatience. I confirmed I had the LED flash set in general settings and notifications enabled and set in the various apps I use them from (messaging, email, missed calls, etc.). I also had to give it a moment to apply and respond.
