Notification LED Issue

I needed to turn off the notification alert ringer, but leave the phone ringer on, no problem you just uncheck use ringer, and then select the volume level for notification.

Weird thing is that when I do that.. my green LED light does not blink when I get something. AND when I turn the notification ringer back on.. the LED still does not work.. I found rebooting the phone reenables the LED.

I also tried turning the notification ringer OFF then rebooting.. No LED that way either.

Just wanted to post about it.. kinda wierd.

Have you tried leaving the notifications turned on, but selecting "silent" for your notification sound choice?

sorry guys i must have been smokin somethin. I forgot the led only comes on when the screen is off. It works correctly regardless of the ringer.
