Does your Notification LED continuing blinking even after you've cleared out your text messages? Mine will stay on for hours until I restart the phone. This happened on the stock SMS app and Handcent.

It happens to me, too. I just plug the phone in to a charger until the red LED lights, then unplug. Then you're good to go. If you're rooted, you can get an app called Light Flow that will also reset the LED condition.

same issue here, on stock rom. It happens intermittently. I have not tested which apps I have open and running when this happens (yet). I usually do the same and restart. Next time it happens I will definitely double check what is opening and running and then run some trouble shooting to see what app is the culprit and post the info.

I can save you that trouble as I've already done that.

Usually it happens when I'm talking to someone on Google Talk. But it has a chance to happen with any app that causes the notification LED to blink. I've reasoned that it must be the interrupt script in the LED portion of the kernel or the ROM itself. Sometimes it just doesn't send the interrupt when a new message is cleared to stop the blinking loop. That's why connecting the charger (or using an app like Light Flow) will fix it, it changes the LED state.

This happens to me daily, but to get it to stop blinking I just pull down the notification tray down and then close it and it stops.

mine does it too, I just send myself a text and it goes away.

Dragging down the notification bar doesn't fix it for me.
