Help notification light flashing

my notification light was flashing between red and green while charging anyone know why

this means your phone overheated and charging has been paused until it cools. I have seen this a few times myself charging in the car on a hot day.

I didn't know that, and I know pretty much nothing...

I didn't know that either, mine overheats a lot, never seen red light before, unless I mistook it for orange.

Edit, oh maybe he meant orange n green. my bad. I still haven't noticed it flashing back n forth tho.
