Notification Light For Prevail?

I've searched, but have found nothing about any kind of notification light for the Prevail...is there one or no?

I am also going back to verizon... the boost is my holdover phone until they finally decide to release the Droid Bionic...

I use "NO LED" app. i think its great.... pops up a small icon on your phones screen...kinda like a windows screensaver...moves around the screen.

This is interesting, but doesnt it kill your battery? ur backlight has to light up and the screen has to run in order to display notification....

I did try this, but for some reason it didn't work, maybe because the phone is rooted and has shabbymod? Who knows...and I would think it'd be a battery killer, unless there's some kind of setting to shut off the notification after a certain amount of time...

I installed the app. It is pretty elaborate. Yes it does eat battery but there are a lot of battery saving features built into it. Turn the backlight off dim it etc. Worth a look. On my phone though the touch screen became unresponsive. They have settings for that too, but maybe I'll play with that later....

Any apps that run in the background are going to use up resources , especially ones with animation . I turn mine on ring/vibrate and that's all the notification I need .

Pretty sure the impact on battery would be minimal with an AMOLED display like shown in the example video. With our phones, the impact would be greater but it does sound like there are many options to keep battery drain to a minimum. Thanks for pointing it out, it definitely seems like something I'm interested in trying out

I would like to see this too. I believe it was done with some other Galaxy phones but required an update to the kernel to support BLN
