Notification light staying solid???

I just downloaded the media hub update today and noticed that now when i get a text message my notification light stays solid instead of blinking...This is annoying because it could cause the battery to drain and it just looks weird...Is there any setting i can mess with, or has anyone else had this problem?

I also notice that when i text i don't hear the typing anymore. It's just silent until i click send...Kind of weird...I'm thinking about uninstalling and re-installing handcent..

Yea I have this issue from time to time also. Before & after the update. Only stays solid for about 4secs every once in a while though. Most of the time it blinks normally. Hopefully the FroYo update will correct the issue.

This is the only issue I'm having with the phone. The notification will work intermittently and today I experienced it staying lit for a few seconds. Just once though. If it does work it'll blink for a few times then stop. Can't figure it out.
