Notification Light?

I've seen other people mention the notification light on their LG Esteems, saying that they get a green light for text messages and a blue light for emails when the screen is locked. I have no such notifications, the only light I see is the red light when charging and the green one when charged. Is there a setting somewhere I need to configure?

I'm pretty sure they don't show up when your phone is charging or plugged in. Maybe that's your problem.

I get a blue light when I get a text. Green when I get an email. While charging its red. Fully charged its green. Never paid attention if the light turns colors while charging and I get a text or email. I will try and pay attention and let you know.

While charging the light stays red even if receiving a text or email.

I'm pretty sure they don't show up when your phone is charging or plugged in. Maybe that's your problem.

That I kinda figured, I'm talking about when the phone is not charging. I don't get the message notification lights at all.
