Notification Lights turn off?

I noticed when I get a message, the notification light will only last a little while before it stops blinking. Is there a setting to keep the notification light going until the notification has been checked?

I don't like having to power it up to know if I have a message, email, or missed call. I just like glancing at it to see if the light is blinking.

Mine does the same thing. The LED blinks for about 2 mins. I hate that but but not enough to switch phones. I am still searching for a good email pop up program that isn't Gmail only.

i personally turned off the notification lights. i work in a dark environment and the constant flashing is annoying.

Yes, that is unbelievable that the LED stops blinking. I absolutely love the EVO, but that is incredibly annoying that it stops blinking. Such a basic thing to have, and this phone doesn't do that. I am hopeful for an update that will fix this.....
