So, if you look in the upper left corner, they are there. Could an app be written to utilize them? If so, would that require rooting? Inquiring minds want to know.

Loving then phone so far. Quite nice!

I know what u mean but I thought about It that it was probably draining the battery faster when it blinks u know. So I miss it too but not so much anymore.

I definitley hate not having them but my phone is in my pocket 95% of the time so I used I'm constantly checking it anyway even when I had a phone with notification lights.

This is the one feature I miss from my POS Blackberry. That and being able to take my smartphone to work, of course.:(

Darn...I was wondering about that. I was quite reliant on having the little flashing LED light. :( I guess I'll just have to get used to it.

okay, i dont know if anyone else was wondering about this..

the notification LED for SMS and emails and all that is not working on my phone. im curious, does the vibrant not allow LED lights? If it doesn't, that is very disappointing. Does anyone know an app that allows this? so far, missed call and handcent have not been able to do this.. HELP!!?

there is no LED on this phone. there is a workaround though.

You know it would be awesome if they release firmware that allows the bottom keys to act as indicators. For example, if you have text messages or voicemail waiting, the home key flashes. That would be brilliant and totally solve the no LED issue.
