Notification Screen Lighting Up in Car

This is my main complaint about this phone, particularly while driving...
In the car the phone stays lit up basically the entire time showing me what time it is and any notifications. I guess it is sensing motion thinking that I am grabbing it to pick it up and use it or something. Any suggestions or anyone else experiencing this?

I don't won't it to light up constantly while driving around.

i have also experienced this. I really like the active notifications i just wish it was a little less sensitive but im starting to get used to it

It's the Moto action setting. You can go into the Moto app > settings > actions > Approach for Moto Display and uncheck that box. Worked for me.

I'll try checking that as it is unchecked now. Maybe it won't activate while driving if I don't approach with my hand...
