Does anyone know if it is possible to change the colours in the drop down notification area - when I get a small (using handcent) the text is black on dark grey background and virtually impossible to read.
 
Yeah I am using Hancent and also have this problem,
can't read anything without going into the app.
So frustrating
 
Seems Handcent have recognised the problem and today have issued an update and now the text is white and clear as day. :-)
 
Just got my GS2 - switching over from the HTC Desire.

I don't see a notification light on the face of the GS2. The Desire had a light that blinked if I got a sms or missed a call.

Have any of you guys found if GS2 will have something like this ? Maybe enable the touch key :confused:

That would be a bummer if Samsung didn't account for this :(

Yeah I too have come from the Desire and miss notification light.
I downloaded NoLed based on these forums but it doesn't seem to work all of the time.
 
Thanks, I'll give it a go.

I noticed there is an app called BLN and it's meant for developers who can write code to harness the functionality of the touch key lights.

Hopefully a smart person will figure that out, and write a new app. I'll stay tuned to see if we get any other suggestions,

Update: yeah, NoLed doesn't work that well.
